Heard from Dad that Mom cried a lot this morning. She cried a lot last night too. Julia’s been crying a good load as well.
Pea: How’s everyone doing?
Me: Oh, Mom’s crying, Julia’s crying…
Pea: Your Dad?
Me: Nah, he’s all like ‘GO LAH. BYE.’
Pea: Hahahaha! What about you?
Me: I really don’t want to go.
Pea: And neither does your mom and sister.
Me: Yeah.
Pea: See la! All because of your father.
I cannot believe I’m leaving tomorrow, at 6 in the bloody morning. I’ll spend approximately 24 hours in the air. Ugh. At least I’ll sleep through most of it.
I’m most worried with the whole transfer flights thing at the Chigago airport though. I have around 2 and a half hours, and I hope that’s enough for me to get through customs, check out, check in and get through customs again. I hope I don’t get lost.
Went to catch 300. It’s a pretty movie. Stupid story, but a pretty movie. Xerxes was… half-awesome. Because he looked like a girl on the other half of the time, and his voice was weird. You know that scene they always show in the trailers where he’s shouting? Yeah, that was his only cool scene.
Lots of boobies too, from either gender. Sigh, and all those abs.
I just wanted to rip off Leonidas’s beard. It’s like a fake beard with lots of wax in it.
Pretty movie. If you watched it on mute but the music on, I think it’ll be much better. 
University!
I haven’t updated this in ages. I’m going to make a new layout.
In love with the Godfather series. Part Three wasn’t exactly the best, but it’s still my favorite. Al Pacino is so full of awesome. So my next layout will have Pacino in it. Whee~
And I postponed my departure to the USA till February. Will start there in March. I really, really don’t want to go.
Disney Dreams was shut down by some stupid fuck, and stupid hosts that didn’t even try to investigate if the accusations were true.
Pirates of the Caribbean
You know, I just don’t get why they want to make Elizabeth so dislikable. The poor girl’s already being bashed for sleeping with a man that bears a strong resemblence to Orlando Bloom, and now you make her cheat on her husband-to-be AND cause Jack Sparrow’s death?
I liked Elizabeth in the first movie, because she was so headstrong and fiesty. Now she’s just some backstabbing one dimensional character.
Pirates of the Caribbean
Whoo! Just caught it, and it’s one hell of a thrillride.
I absolutely loved the ending… Didn’t care if it was a cliffhanger, but OMG! It was awesome.
Norrington looks so much better now… I think he’s glad too. I saw the behind the scenes of the first movie, and he was being interviewed. He joked that he looked like an ice cream and all the pirates just looked so cool. =D
Bill Nighy was fantastic! Even with all the special effects and latex makeup, he was really really good.
Jokes were fun too - the new ones. There were rehashes of the old jokes in the first movie, and it wasn’t great. The only funny one was Jack saying ‘hide the rum!’ when Elizabeth came looking for him. There was an instance when Will and Elizabeth were musing sweet nothings to each other and Elizabeth’s father broke the handle of the candlestick (like Will in the first movie). Not funny at all.
I almost thought that Will’s father played Wormtongue in Lord of the Rings… There’s a huge resemblence.
Keira Knightly didn’t look like she was doing her best in this one. And I really have to applaude the costume designers/makeup artists for giving her a substantial amount of cleavage.
And Johnny Depp’s fantastic, as always.
The movie’s wonderful. Go watch!
