Hosting

Hosting is currently open. I’m pretty much open to anything - fanlistings, personal sites, blogs, fansites etc. I’ll be more likely to approve personal sites and blogs first.

What I want

  • FTP knowledge is a must.
  • You must have a site that is up for me to see. Screenshots are acceptable, but be prepared to answer a bunch of html related questions. I’m pretty nitpicky.
  • I won’t host any people who’re still new to web design.
  • Update regularly. If you’re going on hiatus, let me know. If you’re moving out, let me know.
  • You have to be over 15 to apply.
  • You must link Confutatis.org on your site.
  • No MP3s, warez or anything illegal.
  • Don’t tYpE LiEK tiS. You have a blog. Write out your thoughts.

What you get

  • http://you.confutatis.org, or http://www.confutatis.org/you
  • 1GB of space [negotiable], and enough bandwidth.
  • Private FTP account and CGI-BIN
  • PHP, Perl, and unlimited MySQL databases.
  • Fantastico, Wordpress, B2 and a bunch of other scripts.
  • you@confutatis.org email forwarder (optional)

What you need to do after

  • Get your site up within 2 weeks. If not, let me know.
  • If you are using up too much bandwidth, I’d have to ask you to leave.
  • If you’re a social person stay away from me, staying in contact with me is not mandatory, however I do appreciate a new friend every once in a while.
  • And seriously. Don’t. Be. Rude (of course, assuming that I didn’t notice that before)
