Domain
Confutatis.org was originally a quick brainstorm in 2003. Unfortunately, I didn’t know any proper php (or fancy CSS) coding then, and the idea was scrapped. Now, my sister, Julia and I own the domain.
“Confutatis” is the latin word for “silenced”. It is often used in latin hymns:
Confutatis maledictis
Flammis accribus addictis
Voca mei cum benedictis
Translation:
When the villified shall be silenced
And cast into the searing flames,
Call me with the blessed.
I happily say that the OST for Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame first alerted me to Latin. Mozart’s Requiem sealed the deal for me, so I bought the domain with Latin in it. The domain was purchased on 25th November 2005. Currently hosted by Lunarpages.
