Geek mode: Activate
So I caved in and bought a 60GB Playstation 3. I originally wanted to wait until the holiday period and grab the 40GB version (which was $100 cheaper), but was horrified to find there was no backward compatibility for that version. I went browsing on eBay and found a used PS3 at $399 (original price was $499), so I paid for it. I’ll be getting it tomorrow, but I have no games or blu-ray discs to play it on.
I’ve grabbed Final Fantasy X and X-2 at an insanely cheap combined price of $15, so that should be arriving in the next couple of days. That should keep me entertained for some time, and I’ll probably grab FFXII after that. Yes, I am an FF whore. Reflecting on my gaming history, I’ve only liked FF games and it actually has good replay value for me, unlike the other games.
And here’s my wishlist. Hint hint clue clue. Holidays are coming!
